As my business has evolved, it became evident that the time had come to divide Nadia Chapman Photography into two distinct brands, each tailored to better meet the needs of their specific clientele. This transformation underscores my unwavering dedication to delivering top-notch, personalized headshot photography in Portland and its neighboring areas. In this article, I'll walk you through my rebranding journey, highlight what's new, and explain how these changes will enhance your experience as a client.   ## The Journey  #### Reflection  In 2019, I launched Nadia Chapman Photography, transitioning from a tech career to embrace my new role as a mother. Although my initial direction was uncertain, my enduring passion for photography and a newfound commitment to honing my skills to capture my son's growth fueled my journey. During this period, I came across [The Headshot Crew](https://headshotcrew.com/), an international network of headshot photographers committed to perfecting their skills, guided by the renowned headshot expert [Peter Hurley](https://peterhurley.com/).  This experience helped crystallize my professional photography aspirations. As I expanded my expertise, I explored various photography genres, but two areas resonated deeply with me. My personal experience with motherhood drew me to maternity and motherhood photography, while my corporate background kept me connected to the precision and clientele of headshot photography.  I couldn't choose between my headshot and motherhood clients, as both are important to me, yet they have distinct needs. To effectively communicate with each group without compromising my message, it was essential to divide Nadia Chapman Photography into The Headshot Photographer and [The Maternal Studio](https://thematernalstudio.com/).   ## Brand New This article will focus on the rebranding of the headshot brand, from Nadia Chapman Photography to The Headshot Photographer.  At the time of writing, the rebrand is still in progress, with a planned completion by late-April 2025.   ![Corinna Wills by THE Headshot Photographer Nadia Chapman - Apr 13 2025 - 1245 - Web Size 3](https://theheadshotphotographer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/_The%20Headshot%20Photographer/Web%20Sized%20Photo/Corinna%20Wills%20by%20THE%20Headshot%20Photographer%20Nadia%20Chapman%20-%20Apr%2013%202025%20-%201245%20-%20Web%20Size%203.jpg?width=1000&height=1000&name=Corinna%20Wills%20by%20THE%20Headshot%20Photographer%20Nadia%20Chapman%20-%20Apr%2013%202025%20-%201245%20-%20Web%20Size%203.jpg) ![Kaylynn Place by Nadia Chapman Photography Headshots - Nov 05 2024 - 816 - Web Size 4](https://theheadshotphotographer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/_The%20Headshot%20Photographer/Web%20Sized%20Photo/Kaylynn%20Place%20by%20Nadia%20Chapman%20Photography%20Headshots%20-%20Nov%2005%202024%20-%20816%20-%20Web%20Size%204.jpg?width=1000&height=1000&name=Kaylynn%20Place%20by%20Nadia%20Chapman%20Photography%20Headshots%20-%20Nov%2005%202024%20-%20816%20-%20Web%20Size%204.jpg) ![Dre Vance by Nadia Chapman Photography Headshots - Jan 23 2025 - 12030 - Web Size](https://theheadshotphotographer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/_The%20Headshot%20Photographer/Web%20Sized%20Photo/Dre%20Vance%20by%20Nadia%20Chapman%20Photography%20Headshots%20-%20Jan%2023%202025%20-%2012030%20-%20Web%20Size.jpg?width=1000&height=1000&name=Dre%20Vance%20by%20Nadia%20Chapman%20Photography%20Headshots%20-%20Jan%2023%202025%20-%2012030%20-%20Web%20Size.jpg)   ## What’s New? #### New Brand Identity ![THS Banners-8-Headshot Logo IG Size](https://theheadshotphotographer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/_The%20Headshot%20Photographer/Logos%20and%20Branding/THS%20Banners-8-Headshot%20Logo%20IG%20Size.jpeg?width=300&height=375&name=THS%20Banners-8-Headshot%20Logo%20IG%20Size.jpeg)The rebranding process has involved a complete overhaul of my visual identity to better reflect the headshot photography focus and professionalism. - **The Name: **Ive been wanting to move away from using my personal name as a brand for some time, allowing for future company growth.  The new brand name 'The Headshot Photographer' was chosen to clearly identify the purpose of this brand.   - **Logo and Visuals:** The new logo represents a bold presence. The design is clean and sophisticated, making it instantly recognizable.   - **Color Scheme and Aesthetic:** I’ve chosen to remain with black and white branding colors, as the photography adds enough color. #### Online Presence The online rebranding process will continue for a number of weeks.  When complete, you'll notice: - **New website URL: **The new website url will be [theheadshotphotographer.com](https://theheadshotphotographer.com/), however existing urls will be automatically redirected to the new url. - **New social media handles: **Social media handles have already been updated, check them out:   - Instagram: [@theheadshotphotographerusa](https://www.instagram.com/theheadshotphotographerusa/) - LinkedIn: [linkedin.com/company/theheadshotphotographer/](https://www.linkedin.com/company/theheadshotphotographer/) - Pinterest: [@theheadshotphotographerusa](https://www.pinterest.com/theheadshotphotographerUSA/)   ### What’s The Same? I am deeply grateful to all my clients, fellow Headshot Crew photographers, [Peter Hurley](https://www.instagram.com/peter_hurley/) and other coaches who have supported me in reaching this pivotal stage in my business. Above all, I owe a heartfelt thank you to my amazing husband for his unwavering emotional and financial support as we have built this business together. He has been there through the late-night editing sessions, cash flow challenges, and my undeniable shopping addiction for photography gear. Without him, none of this would have been possible.     --- ### Need To Update Your Headshot?
